Deaf Lounge

Everyone wants to spend a quality evening in a pleasant environment with a good company. It can be either memorable, unique, charming or simply relaxing experience.

The Deaf Lounge is the only Deaf bar. It of course serves hearing customers as well.  But its main target is social access without any barriers for the Deaf customers.

The bar with a quite revealing name  – The Deaf Lounge – is located in the heart of multicultural North London Seven Sisters area.  The bar offers a great variety of drinks, billboard and even music which welcomes hard of hearing and hearing people in a signing environment.

The Deaf friendly bar includes bright lighting so customers can see each other, communicate in signs, and even use pen and paper for writing messages. In addition there are:

Deaf Security

Deaf Bar Staff

Partially Deaf DJ

Fire alarm has a flashing light to alert Deaf customers and lavatory notices are in sign language as well as written English.

The idea that many people welcomed turned into reality! We congratulate the proud owners Paul Cripps and Domani Peir!

Everyone is curious to come in and have a pint of beer/glass of wine there. We are going to visit the Deaf Lounge with a bunch of my friends soon.

What about you?
